11 days Namche bazaar & tengbuche trekking

11 days Namche bazaar & tengbuche trekking
Namche Bazaar is a village in the Khumbu region of Nepal. Namche is located at 3,440 meters (11,286 ft.). From the bridge over the Dudh Kosi, the trail winds its way up a "big" hill, finally cresting at a small building which also serves as an army/police check point.
Almost everyone trekking in the Khumbu region will visit Namche Bazaar, as it is the gateway to the high Himalayas. Visitors are likely stay at least one night, if not two for altitude acclimatization. The village has many shops and lodges where one can find almost anything required for trekking (no camera repair shops), although prices are higher than in Kathmandu. However, the higher you go up into the Khumbu, the more expensive everything gets so by the time you reach Lobuche (4,930m/16,175'), the prices in Namche will seem quite reasonable.8 Days Namche Bazaar & Tengboche Teahouse Trek
Above Namche BazaarNamche is the administrative center for the Khumbu region so there are many Nepalese officials, a police check post and a bank. Near the top of the village is the headquarters for Sagarmatha National Park as well as Nepalese army barracks. Immediately west of Namche is Kongde Ri at 6,187 metres (20,298 ft.) and to the east is Thamserku at 6,608 metres (21,680 ft.)

20 days tilman pass

20 Days Tilmanpass Trekking
20 Days Tilmanpass TrekkingTilman pass trekking is one of the best wilderness trekking areas of Nepal; this can be defined as tough trek in a remote and wild part of the Himalayas. The area offers you the Langsisha glacier, five sacred lakes of Panch Pokhari and the extremely remote Jugal Himal. It is home of the blue sheep and the red panda. Our trek will be following past the rocky peaks of Kanshurum, Urkinmang and Ganchenpo.
A long time ago in Kerung, Tibet, an old Lama and his wife, Dorjee and Lakpa, had an ox they loved, but it ran away along the banks of the upper Trisuli, past Rasuwa, down to where the Langtang Khola joins the river and up into the Langtang valley. The couple followed the ox's spirit trail left as magic marks in the snow. They chased the ox past the holy ground of Kyangjing Gompa towards the mountain of Langtang Ri and on a large flat rock that sat in the stream, killed it out of sheer frustration. Today the rock is covered in red moss and lichen, which grew out of the animal's blood. The couple was so upset at their stupidity that they changed form and their spirits flew into the mountains to become the twin peaks of Dorjee Lakpa.
